Zhixin, also known as Gloria, is from Chengdu, China, and currently lives in Northern California. She had a bachelor degree of arts (BA) in Art Practice from University of California, Berkeley and a master degree of fine arts (MFA) in Illustration Practice at Maryland Institute College of Art.
She likes the fresh excitement of adventure and considers familiar and comfortable places as "home". For her, making art is like a dish without a recipe. She tries to create some surprises in the warm atmosphere and become a bridge between memory, reality and dreams, depicting any scene that people can freely travel through. In her leisure time, she likes to travel, write, cook, play with rabbits, observe the sky, enjoy different life stories and interesting reflections.
